Dorothy Mae Senitta, 88, formerly of Monessen, died Saturday, September 19, 2015 in U.P.M.C. Shadyside Hospital.
She was born in Monessen on January 22, 1927, the daughter of the late Leo and Tyyne Savo Kauppila.
She was a lifelong resident of Monessen and a former member of Eagles Aerie 2399.
She is survived by a daughter, Lorraine Cushman of Monessen, a son, Wayne "Winky" Senitta of Monessen, a brother, Ronald (Joan) Kauppila of Walton, NY, seven grandchildren, two great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband George L. Senitta, daughter Georgia Gedeon, grandson James Hannen, and by a granddaughter Sherry Santo.
Graveside funeral services were held in Grandview Cemetery on Thursday Sept. 24, 2015, with Rev. Timothy Dawes officiating.
