Dorothy Rose Gigliotti, 89, of Monessen, died Monday, January 14, 2008. She was born in Milwaukee, WI on September 12, 1918, the daughter of the late Frank F. and Frances A. Miller Palm. She has been a resident of Monessen for the past 46 years, and a member of Epiphany of Our Lord R. C. Church. She was also a member of the former St. Cajetan Christian Mothers, and the Disabled American Veterans Auxillary.She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Louis Gigliotti, two brothers-in-law, Angelo Gigliotti and wife Angeline, Frank Gigliotti and wife Mary, a sister-in-law, Saveria Gigliotti, all of Monessen, thirteen nieces and nephews, Louis Gigliotti and wife Nancy of Monessen, Cathy Carroto and husband Greg of Monessen, Anthony Gigliotti and wife Sharon of West Palm Beach, FL, Gloria Folino and husband Nick of Pittsburgh, Michael Gigliotti and wife Janice of Rostraver Twp., Joseph Gigliiotti and wife Cindy of Monessen, Frank Giglioitti and wife Kathy of Carroll Twp., Rev. Vincent Gigliotti of Brownsville, Ronald Gigliotti of Pittsburgh, Mary Kapty and husband Robert of Monessen, Fred Gigliotti and wife Carm of Greensburg, Anna Jo Noviello and husband Robert of Greensburg, Lisa Krempasky and husband John of Monongahela, and by 26 great nieces and nephews.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers-in-law, Antonio Gigliotti and Frederick Gigliotti and wife Sarah.Friends will be received on Tuesday from 1 to 3 and 6 to 8 pm in the Dalfonso-Billick Funeral Home Inc. and Cremation Services 441 Reed Avenue Monessen, (724-684-8750).Services will be held on Wednesday Jan. 16, 2008, beginning with a 12:30 pm blessing in the funeral home, followed by a 1:00 pm Funeral Mass in theEpiphany of Our Lord R.
