Dorothy L. (Pascoe) Gido, 95, of Monessen, died Thursday February 27, 2020 in Mon Valley Care Center. She was born on August 9, 1924 in Mathers, PA, the daughter of the late Philip Pascoe and Mary (Lilley) Pascoe Walos. During WWII, Dorothy worked as a welder in Pittsburgh. Dorothy loved gardening, cooking, and crocheting. She played the piano and sang with her late husband Thomas Gido at church. She was a member of Assembly of God. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by four brothers, James, Arthur, Philip, and Harold Pascoe. She is survived by a son Daniel Haradin of Lake Arrowhead, CA; three daughters, Sharon (Dennis) Swalin of Monessen, Rebecca Pritts of Monessen, Mariellen (William) Rose of Charleroi; ten grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, a great great grandson, and by nieces and nephews. Friends will be received on Monday from 2 to 4 pm & 6 to 8 pm in Dalfonso-Billick Funeral Home Inc. and Cremation Services, 441 Reed Avenue, Monessen. Services will be held on Tuesday at 12:00 pm in the funeral home with Pastor John Custer officiating. Interment will follow in Mon Valley Memorial Park, Donora.
