Dorothy M. (Ferencz) Demas

Dorothy M. Demas, 88, of Monessen, died Tuesday December 22, 2020 at her residence. She was born on October 28, 1932 in Monessen, the daughter of the late Michael and Esther (Marks) Ferencz. Dorothy was a lifetime resident of Monessen and a graduate of Monessen High School. She was a member of St. Spyridon Greek Orthodox Church and had worked as a secretary for her husband, the late Peter J. Demas at his law office. Surviving are her daughter, Elizabeth Helmeke of Oakton, VA; son-in-law, Raymond Michael Mandarino of Monessen; and by a brother, Bill Ferencz of Las Vegas, NV. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her daughter Cynthia Demas Mandarino. A private family viewing and service was held at Dalfonso-Billick Funeral Home Inc. & Cremation Services 441 Reed Ave. Monessen with Fr. Meletios Gianniodis officiating.
