Donna Marie DeRocco

Donna Marie DeRocco, 78, of Monessen, passed away peacefully on Friday October 2, 2020 surrounded by her family. She was born on August 27, 1942 in N. Charleroi, the daughter of the late Anthony and Theresa (Staffieri) DeRocco. Donna was a life long resident of Monessen and a 1960 graduate of Monessen High School. She graduated from Pittsburgh Beauty Academy and had worked at Forlini's Beauty Shop in Monessen. She later worked and retired from Monongahela Valley Hospital, having worked in the Dietary Department. Donna was a member of Epiphany of Our Lord Church. She is survived by her son Robert (Andrea) Leach Jr. of Monessen, a daughter, Kristin (John) Kerestesi of Monessen, and by her two grandchildren, Paige Kerestesi and Matthew Leach. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother Joseph DeRocco and a sister Toni DeRocco Holmes. Friends will be received on Monday from 2 to 4 pm and 6 to 8 pm in Dalfonso-Billick Funeral Home Inc. and Cremation Services, 441 Reed Avenue, Monessen. Services will be held on Tuesday beginning with a 9:30 am Blessing in the funeral home, followed by a 10:00 am Funeral Mass in Epiphany of Our Lord Church, 44 Pennsylvania Blvd. Monessen, with Rev. Joel Boco officiating. Interment will be in Grandview Cemetery, Monessen. Those attending the visitation and funeral service are required to wear a face mask and practice social distancing.
