Denise L. Persico, 39, of Belle Vernon, formerly of Monessen, died unexpectedly on Thursday, November 27, 2008 in the emergency room of Mon Valley Hospital Inc.She was born in N. Charleroi on October 10, 1969, the daughter of John E. and Nira D. Nesti Persico, who survive and reside in Monessen. Denise grew up in Monessen and was a 1987 graduate of Monessen High School. While living in Belle Vernon, she attended St. Sebastian R.C. Church.In addition to her parents, she is survived by two brothers and three sisters, John and Martha Persico of Jeannette, Marlene and Jeff Craze of Bethel Park, Jeffrey and Julie Persico of Okemos, MI, Brenda and B.J. Veschio of Belle Vernon, Debbie Vasquez of Belle Vernon, ten nieces and nephews, Nicholas, Lauren, Shane, Bethany, Brianna, Brittney, Brandon, Racquel, Raynell, and Cerria, two aunts, Patty Nesti Jackson of Monessen and Betty Angeline of N. Charleroi, an uncle, Msgr. Lawrence T. Persico of New Alexandria, and by numerous cousins.Friends will be received on Sunday from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm. in the Dalfonso-Billick Funeral Home Inc. and Cremation Services, 441 Reed Avenue Monessen, (724-684-8750).Services will be held on Monday Dec. 1, 2008, beginning with a 9:00 am Blessing in the funeral home, followed by a 9:30 am Funeral Mass in Epiphany of Our Lord R.
