Caroline P. Post, 93, of Monessen, died Tuesday June 23, 2015 in Hallsworth House. She was born in Monessen on June 25, 1921, the daughter of the late Frank and Lena Ferraro Mandarino. Caroline was a lifelong resident of Monessen and a 1939 graduate of Monessen High School. She was a member of Epiphany of Our Lord R.C. Church and its Epiphany Ladies, Italian-American Heritage Society, and a former member of Italian Society of Mutual Aid. Caroline worked as a bookkeeper at the family business, Franks Service Garage in Monessen, for over 70 years. She is survived by her daughter, Patricia (Dennis) Vegso, two sons, Kevin (Toni) Post, Timothy Post, all of Monessen, a daughter-in-law, Helen (Bridge) Post of Charleroi, four grandchildren, Tom Post Jr., Scott (Erin) Post, Kevin (Barbara) Post, Amy Tabron, seven great grandchildren, Raymond (Dolores) Mandarino of Las Vegas, NV, two sisters-in-law, Helen Mandarino of Bridgeville and Mary Mandarino of Monessen, and by several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Francis H. Post, an infant daughter Carol Lynn Post, a son Francis Thomas Post, three brothers, Ralph, Richard, and Robert Mandarino, and by a sister and brother-in-law, Elizabeth and Leo Karol. Friends will be received on Friday from 2 to 4 pm and 6 to 8 pm in Dalfonso-Billick Funeral Home Inc. and Cremation Services, 441 Reed Ave. Monessen. Services will be held on Saturday, beginning with a 9:00 am Blessing in the funeral home, followed by a 9:30 am Funeral Mass in Epiphany of Our Lord Church.
