Carmella "Corkie" (DeBone') Lang, 87, of Monessen, died Wednesday, February 10, 2010 in Monongahela Valley Hospital Inc.She was born in Pitcairn, on February 19, 1922, the daughter of the late Thomas and Marian DeBone'.Mrs. Lang has been a resident of Monessen for over 60 years, and had worked as a presser for Brookvale Clothing Factory. She was a member of Epiphany of Our Lord R. C. Church and was an avid bingo player.She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Thomas D. and Patti Lang of Belle Vernon, daughter and son-in-law, Tanya and Lawrence Sobek of Monessen, brother and sister-in-law, Joseph and Shirley DeBone of North Braddock, three grandchildren, Natalie R. Glaspey and husband Christian, Thomas A. Lang, all of Belle Vernon, Yancy J. Sobek and wife Melissa of Monessen, four great grandchildren, Christian, Carley, and Connor Glaspey, and Isabella Sobek, and by numerous nieces and nephews.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Guy Lang, granddaughter Andrea P. Lang, four brothers, William, Ernie, Andy, and Albert, and by four sisters, Margaret, Renee, Dorothy, and Brigette.Friends will be received on Friday from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm in the Dalfonso-Billick Funeral Home Inc. and Cremation Services, 441 Reed Avenue Monessen, (724-684-8750).Services will be held on Saturday, February 13, 2010, beginning with a 9:30 am Blessing in the funeral home, followed by a 10:00 am Funeral Mass in Epiphany of Our Lord R.
