Betty Krupa, 92, of Monessen, fomerly of Donora, died Thursday, January 29, 2009 in Monongahela Valley Hospital Inc.She was born in Donora on March 11, 1916, the daughter of the late Michael and Elizabeth (Serbak) Yatsko. She was a 1934 graduate of Donora High School and a former member of St. Dominic's R. C. Church. Her and her late husband, John J. Krupa, owned and operated Krupa's Market in Donora from 1950 until 1973. Betty and her husband moved to Monessen in 1977. She was currently a member of Epiphany of Our Lord R. C. Church.She is survived by her three grandchildren, Lisa Barber, Jodie Chapman, and John Nuss, all of the state of California, her sister, Ruth Yatsko of Donora, and by three great grandchildren, Elizabeth Nuss, Brock and Kevin Chapman.In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her daughter and son-in-law, Joanne and Dennis Nuss.Private family visitation was held, followed by a Funeral Mass was in Epiphany of Our Lord R.
