Antonietta (Mattozi) Stringa, 97, of Fraser, MI, formerly of Monessen, died Wednesday, July 9, 2014. She was born in Prata Quila, Italy on April 28, 1917. Mrs. Stringa lived most of her life in Monessen before moving with daughter Maria in Michigan. She was a member of Epiphany of Our Lord Roman Catholic Church. She is survived by her daughter, Maria (Dominic) Mancini of Fraser, MI, her son, Tony (Pat) Stringa of Wyandotte, MI, six grandchildren, Max, Leo, Lori, John, Adriano, and Joe, twelve great grandchildren, and four great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Elio Stringa, a son Luigi Stringa, and by a granddaughter Antoinetta Stringa. Friends will be received Sunday from 2 to 9 pm in the Bagnasco & Calcaterra Funeral Home, 13650 E.
