Antoinette (Altomare) Reda

Antoinette (Altomare) Reda, 93, of Monessen, died Friday Jan. 22, 2021 in Hallsworth House. She was born on April 6, 1927 in Monessen, the daughter of the late Thomas and Susie (Bilotta) Altomare. Antoinette was a life long resident of Monessen, a graduate of Monessen High School, and a member of Epiphany of Our Lord Church. She was very involved and volunteered her time for activities at the church, baking and cooking for numerous affairs. Antoinette was a member of the Epiphany Church Choir, Epiphany Ladies, and the Italian American Heritage Society. Antoinette was a self employed beautician working from her home, where she loved to bake and cook for family and friends. She is survived by three daughters, Bernadette (Fred) Naccarato, Anita Reda, Connie (Jeff) Francia, all of Monessen; five grandchildren, Fred (Danielle) Naccarato, Jessica (Frank) Rapsky, Liza (Patsy) Altomari, Elizabeth Francia, Jeffrey Francia; nine great grandsons; a brother, Salvi Altomare of Murrysville; her dear friend and cousin, Marge Talarico; and by nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 72 years, Anthony "Tote" Reda, a brother Frank Altomare, and by her grandson Joseph Salvino. Friends will be received on Monday from 9:30 am to 11:30 am in Dalfonso-Billick Funeral Home Inc. and Cremation Services, 441 Reed Avenue, Monessen. Services will begin with Prayers of Transfer at 11:30 am in the funeral home, followed by a Funeral Mass at 12:00 pm in Epiphany of Our Lord Church, 44 Pennsylvania Blvd. Monessen, with Rev. Joel Boco officiating. Entombment will follow in Grandview Cemetery Mausoleum, Monessen.
