Anthony L. Reno

Anthony L. Reno, 84, of Monessen, passed away on Sunday, June 4, 2023 in Penn Highlands Mon Valley Hospital, with his loving family by his side. He was born on October 14, 1938 in Monessen, the son of the late Louis and Marianne (Mascetta) Reno. He was a member of Epiphany of our Lord Church, Arnold City PNA, Belle Vernon Russian Club, Italian Society of Mutual Aid, American Legion Post 659, Knight of Columbus Council 954 and was a Graduate of Monessen High School Class of 1956. He was retired from Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel, Allenport Plant. He is survived by his wife of 36 years Shirley L. (Sacharov) Reno, son, Anthony Mark Reno of Belle Vernon; daughter, Laura Ann (Donald) Gray of Confluence, PA; four grandsons, Christian & Anthony Mark Reno Jr., Donny & Justin Gray; granddaughter, Lauren (Chris) Hause; five great-grandchildren, Lakin, Carter and Storm Gray, Owen and Matteo Hause; sister, Lucille Belleza of Monessen. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his sister, Mary Dolores Assenat. Friends will be received on Thursday June 8th from 2 pm to 4 pm and from 6 pm to 8 pm in the Dalfonso-Billick Funeral Home Inc. and Cremation Services, 441 Reed Avenue, Monessen. Services will be held on Friday June 9th beginning with a blessing service at 9:30 am followed by a 10 am funeral Mass at Epiphany of our Lord Church, with Rev. Michael J. Crookston officiating. Entombment will follow in the Mon Valley Memorial Park Mausoleum, Donora.
