Anthony Morello Jr., 75, of Monessen, died Monday August 28, 2017 in Victoria House, Monessen. He was born in N. Charleroi, on September 23, 1941, the son of the late Anthony and Maria (Terrana) Morello. Anthony was a life long resident of Monessen, a graduate of Monessen High School, and a member of Epiphany of Our Lord Church. Anthony had worked for Santori Brothers for many years and later worked for the Monessen School District in the sanitation department. He is survived by his two sisters, Rose Morello of Pittsburgh and Josephine Petrusky of Monessen, brothers and sisters-in-law; Luigi (Concetta) DiPiazza, Calogero (Maria) DiPiazza, Rosalia Bertola, Carmela Sangiorgi, and Concetta DiPiazza, and by nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 46 years, Elena DiPiazza Morello, two sisters, Elizabeth Gladys and Vita Petruska, and by two brothers, Frank and Pete Morello. Friends will be received in Dalfonso-Billick Funeral Home Inc. and Cremation Services, 441 Reed Avenue Monessen, on Thursday, August 31, 2017 from 3 pm to 8 pm. Services will be held on Friday, beginning with a 9:30 am Blessing in the funeral home, followed by a 10:00 am Funeral Mass in Epiphany of Our Lord Church, 44 Pennsylvania Blvd. Monessen.
