Anna Mae F. (Rendos) Mondi, 86, of Monessen, died Sunday, February 6, 2011 in Monongahela Valley Hospital Inc.She was born in Monessen on January 14, 1925, the daughter of the late Andrew Rendos Sr. and Anna (Rovnak) Rendos. Mrs. Mondi was a life long resident of Monessen and a member of Epiphany of Our Lord Roman Catholic Church, the former St. Cajetan Church Rosary Altar Society, and attended the Monessen Senior Center. She was a veteran of WWII, having served with the United States Marine Corps.She is survived by three sons and daughters-in-law, William and Becky Mondi of Lawrence, KS, Anthony and Cindy Mondi of Greensburg, John and Janelle Mondi of Sagertown, a sister, Pat Henry of West Newton, eleven grandchildren, six great grandchildren, nieces Andrea Yartin and Linda McCracken, nephew, Andrew "Buddy" Yartin, and by several other nieces and nephews.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Basil W. Mondi, a brother Andrew Rendos Jr., and by a sister Dorothy Yartin.Friends will be received on Tuesday Feb. 8, 2011 from 6 to 8 pm in the Dalfonso-Billick Funeral Home Inc. and Cremation Services, 441 Reed Avenue Monessen, (724-684-8750).Services will be held on Wednesday, February 9, 2011, beginning with a 9:30 am Blessing in the funeral home, followed by a 10:00 am Funeral Mass in Epiphany of Our Lord Chapel, 44 Pennsylvania Blvd. Monessen.
