Ann (Kuvinka) Roberts

Ann Kuvinka Roberts, 99, formerly of Monessen, died Wednesday Nov. 4, 2020 in Westmoreland Manor. She was born on May 20, 1921 in Monessen, the daughter of the late John and Anna (Plattinger) Kuvinka. Ann lived in Monessen all her life and was a graduate of Monessen High School. She worked at several supermarkets over the years, including the former A & P in Monessen and the Shop & Save stores in Donora and Charleroi. She was a member of St. John the Divine Russian Orthodox Church in Monessen and the United Food and Commercial Workers International Union. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Elwood Roberts, a daughter and son-in-law Carol Kuvinka and Joseph Kostolansky, a grandson Joseph John Kostolansky, and by five brothers, John, Michael, Andrew, Paul, and George Kuvinka. She is survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Friends will be received on Saturday Nov. 7, 2020 from 9 am to 10 am in Dalfonso-Billick Funeral Home Inc. and Cremation Services, 441 Reed Avenue, Monessen. Services will follow in the funeral home at 10 am with Rev. Constantine Curchin officiating. Interment will follow in the Mon Valley Memorial Park, Donora.
