Ann Idzik, 96, of Bridgeville, formerly of Monessen, died Friday, October 14, 2011 in Manor Care, Peters Twp.She was born in Monessen on October 23, 1914, a daughter of the late George and Maria Rovnak Rusnak.She was a member of Holy Childs Parish in Bridgeville, where she was active in its Christian Mothers and Golden Agers. While she resided in Monessen, she was a member of the former Most Holy Name of Jesus Church and its Christian Mothers.She was the loving mother of Maryann and Robert Snyder of Bridgeville, grandmother of Leighann Snyder of Pittsburgh, sister of Irene and Vincent Zuza and Andrew Rusnak of Monessen. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Anthony J. Idzik on Nov. 19, 1983, three brothers, George, John, and Michael Rusnak, and by two sisters, Margaret Rusnak and Mary Stash..Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm Monday October 17, 2011 in the Dalfonso-Billick Funeral Home Inc. and Cremation Services 441 Reed Avenue Monessen, 724-684-8750.Services will be held on Tuesday October 18, 2011 beginning with a Blessing at 11:30am in the funeral home followed by a Funeral Mass at 12 Noon in Epihany of our Lord R.C. Church, Monessen. Interment will follow in Holy Name Cemetery Monessen.Memorial Contributions may be made to a charity of one's choice.
