Angelo R. Galante

Angelo Galante, 76, of Monessen, passed away on Friday, January 12, 2024 in Transitions Healthcare, Washington. He was born on December 12, 1947 in Jacksonville, FL, the son of the late August A. and Joann (Smith) Galante. He was a member of Epiphany of our Lord, a member of Monessen High School class of 1968 and proudly served his country in the United States Navy. He was retired from the United States Postal Service where he worked in the mail sorting department. He is survived by his loving wife of 26 years, Carol (Fedarko) Galante, son, Kenneth (Jill) Galante; daughter, Kathleen Fedarko; five grandchildren, Zak (Chi) Campbell, Hayden,  Haley, Hunter Galante, Grey Seybold; great-grandchildren, Avery and Harper. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his; son, Matthew Galante and Brother, Augie Galante, Jr. Friends will be received Wednesday, January 17, 2024 from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm, in the Dalfonso-Billick Funeral Home Inc. and Cremation Services, 441 Reed Avenue, Monessen. Services will be held on Thursday, January 18, 2024 beginning with a Blessing service at 10:00 am, with Rev. Michael Crookston officiating. Interment will follow in the Grandview Cemetery, Monessen.
