Angela Gigliotti, 86, of Palm Beach Shores, Florida, formerly of Monessen left this earth on the wings of angels on Tuesday, April 28, 2009.She was born in Nicastro, Italy on April 30, 1922, the daughter of the late Giuseppe and Caterina Defazio Chirumbolo. Mrs. Gigliotti moved to United States in 1934, and to Monessen in 1940, marrying her loving husband Angelo Gigliotto. She was a member of Epiphany of Our Lord R. C. Church and its Epiphany Ladies, Court 776 of the C.D. of A., the former St. Cajetan Christian Mothers, and the Italian Society of Mutual Aid. Angela was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and nunnie who loved to cook and spend time with her family and friends.In addition to her husband, she is survived by her four children, Anthony Gigliotti and wife Sharon of Palm Beach Shores, FL, Gloria Folino and husband Nick of Pittsburgh, Michael Gigliotti and wife Janice of Belle Vernon, Joseph Gigliotti and wife Cynthia of Monessen, two sisters and brothers-in-law, Antoinette and Richard Roberto of Pittsburgh, Maria and John DeVito of Pittsburgh, a sister-in-law, Patricia Chirumbolo of Pittsburgh, eleven grandchildren, Laura Lee Gigliotti of Palm Beach Shores, FL, David Gigliotti of Washington, DC, Caroline Behun and husband David of Pittsburgh, Nick Folino and wife Lori of Peters Twp., Anthony Folino and wife Kelly and Michael Folino and wife Angela all of Pittsburgh, Hannah and Luke Gigliotti of Belle Vernon, Allysa, Mariea, and Joseph P. Gigliotti of Monessen, eight great grandchildren, and by numerous brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, and nephews.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother Joseph "Bruni" Chirumbolo.Friends will be received on Thursday from 7 to 9 pm, and on Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm in the Dalfonso-Billick Funeral Home Inc. and Cremation Services, 441 Reed Avenue Monessen, (724-684-8750).Services will be held on Saturday May 2, 2009, beginning with a 9:30 am Blessing in the funeral home, followed by a 10:00 am Funeral Mass in Epiphany of Our Lord R. C. Church. Entombment will follow in Grandview Cemetery Mausoleum, Monessen. The following will hold a combined service on Thursday at 8:00pm in the funeral home; Court 776 of the C.D.of A., Epiphany Ladies, and K.of C.
