Alfred DiBuono, 91, of Bentleyville, died Friday, May 8, 2009 in Kenric Manor, Donora.He was born in Monessen on January 24, 1918, the son of the late Gaetano and Anna Alessandra DiBuono. Mr. DiBuono grew up in Monessen and was a 1937 graduate of Monessen High School. He had owned and operated Al's Auto Parts in Charleroi for a short time, and then worked for Kelly's Auto Parts in Belle Vernon.He was a veteran of WWII, having served with the U.S. Army in the 6th Ordnance Company in the European Theater, and a recipient of the Purple Heart.In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Lillian Stagi DiBuono and his daughter Candace Dooley.
