Agnes B. (Nyalko) Molinatto

June 12, 1922 — March 3, 2014

Agnes B. (Nyalko) Molinatto, 91, of Monessen, died Monday, March 3, 2014 in Hallsworth House, Monessen. She was born in Monessen on June 12, 1922, the daughter of the late Michael and Barbara Eckenberger Nyalko. Aggie was a lifelong resident of Monessen, a graduate of Monessen High School, and was one of the first two majorettes at the school. She was a member of Epiphany of Our Lord Roman Catholic Church, its Epiphany Ladies, and volunteer at the church making pierogies. Aggie was also a member of Court 776, Catholic Daughters of the America's and the Catholic Business and Professional Women. She had worked as a secretary for Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel in Monessen and later as a waitress at the Twin Coaches and New Alpine Club. Aggie enjoyed socializing and spending time with family and friends. She loved to travel, cook, and share recipes with everyone. When you asked her how she was doing, she always said, "Fine and dandy, sweet like candy". She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Barbara and Ronald Nutt of Monessen, her grandson, Anthony J. Argirakis of South Park, a sister-in-law, Geraldine Molinatto of Belle Vernon, a niece, Nancy (Chuck) Guzy, and a nephew, Michael (Lisa) Nyalko. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband Joseph Ogrodnik, second husband, John J. Molinatto, a daughter, Dolly Ogrodnik, and by a brother, Michael Nyalko. Friends will be received in the Dalfonso-Billick Funeral Home Inc. and Cremation Services, 441 Reed Ave. Monessen, on Wednesday March 6, 2014, from 2 to 4 pm and 6 to 8 pm. Services will be held on Thursday, March 6, 2014, beginning with a 9:30 am Blessing in the funeral home, followed by a 10:00 am Funeral Mass in Epiphany of Our Lord Church. Interment will follow in Grandview Cemetery. The family would like to thank the girls at Hallsworth House for their wonderful care and friendship shown toward Aggie. The C.D. of A., Epiphany Ladies, and Catholic B.P.W. will gather for a prayer service on Wednesday at 3:00 pm in the funeral home. Condolences accepted for the family at www.dalfonso-billick.com
