Adele F. Romasco, 96, of Monessen, died Monday June 26, 2017 in Monongahela Valley Hospital Inc.
She was born on October 22, 1920 in Monessen, the daughter of the late John and Rose (Fanella) Castiglia. Mrs. Romasco was a life long resident of Monessen and a 1938 graduate of Monessen High School. She was a member of the Epiphany of Our Lord Roman Catholic Church and a former member of the Italian American Heritage Society.
Surviving are her two children, Adele Radacsy of McCandless Twp. and Justin Romasco of Monessen, two granddaughters, Kristin Radacsy and John J. (Cindi) Radacsy III; two great grandsons, Daniel and Andrew Radacsy; and by numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Albert Romasco, a brother Frank Castiglia, and by three sisters, Fannie Lupoli, Eva Castiglia, and Marie Biseda.
Friends will be received on Thursday from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm in the Dalfonso-Billick Funeral Home Inc. and Cremation Services, 441 Reed Avenue, Monessen.
Services will be held on Friday beginning with a 9:30 am Blessing in the funeral home, followed by a 10:00 am Funeral Mass in Epiphany of Our Lord Chapel, 44 Pennsylvania Blvd. Monessen, with Rev. Michael J. Crookston officiating. Interment will follow in the Mon Valley Memorial Park, Donora.
